This Friday, we will study and discuss why Jesus Christ died. Most of us have heard and known that Jesus Christ died for our sin, but why couldn't God just forgive us? Why did God sacrifice His own son, Jesus Christ, on the cross?
Please join us as we unravel some of these questions and understand more about God's infinite love for us.

We will meet this Friday @ 7:30pm @ Pastor Solomon's parents' casa.

We have a big event coming up!!
As you guys know, we have our thanksgiving service on 9/14 and we will be serving dinner for our visitors. There is much to prepare....YAY! :P

dinner (catering: from where?)

can i switch with kevin? (8/17 to 8/24).
Membership Sunday is on 8/17, and I have a feeling that that Sunday would be no bueno for me to lead. :p

Grrrrr....finding a place aint easy!!!!

The first one i mentioned before (the one in malibu) isn't going to work out for us because of the price. The lady said that it is available during 6/20-6/22, but the price would be $1200/night. $600 - $1000/night applies to weekdays only. We could have up to 30 ppl, but the price is no good for us. I am so sad. I was really looking forward to get this place. :(

I called them yesterday (4/29) to check if 5/23 - 5/25 or 6/20 - 6/22 is available, and the lady said she will call back either today or tomm. This house can be rented per night at $600 to $1000 depending on the season. The lady asked me how much we were expecting to pay, and I told her lower the better. I also told her about our church and etc. and she said she will think about the price and get back to me ASAP. I hope this works out. This place is 12 miles away from Malibu beach, so it shouldn't be too bad of drive if we want to go swim, right?
